Hi everyone, we got some requests so I decided to have another cooking event! This time we’ll make karaage teisyoku with garlic koji.
.
By the way, have you ever heard “garlic-kōji” before? It’s a kind of Japanese fermented condiment.I’ll teach you how to make it, how to use it and why it’s good for your health. I’m so excited to be able to share Japanese food and Japanese fermented condiment etc. here, especially as I got a license of a fermented Japanese food course last year! (I learnt it in Japanese and it seems like no one did it in the group and it’s my challenging, so please forgive me if my explanation is not so smooth )
.
We are going to make karaage (chicken), rice, miso-soup and some vegetables for a side but we won’t make everything in this picture. And also, if there is something that you can’t eat, you can serve what you’d like to eat as well.)
.
We are going to make gluten-free karaage, and we’ll teach you how to make garlic-kōji as well, as it’s healthier, easier and more delicious (I’ll teach you how to cook it without garlic-kōji as well.)
